Cone Rockets
From CD Spool Rocket Resource OddrocWiki
Cone rockets are different from Skirt Fin Rockets (http://wiki.cdspoolrocket.info/Skirtfin) in that these rockets essentially are one giant transition. A true cone rocket has no parallel surfaces it starts out small and pointy and grows gradually in a cone shape the entire length of the rocket.
Cone rockets are stabilized in the same manner as skirt fin rockets - but they are more extreme. Simulation of this type of rocket is done in the same way as a skirt fin or funnel rocket. Given the uncertainties of simulations of these rockets - heads up first flights are the norm.
